Asthma Causes
There have been numerous sources which have been deemed responsible for the cause of asthma. These include odours, food, changes in atmosphere, exercise, stress, smoke, dust and many others. The problem is that there is no definite answer and no way of knowing why different individuals react so differently to this problem of the airways.
What we do know is that Asthma is more commonly present in children than in adults. There are varying ways in which asthma suddenly shows up in a child and some of the symptoms they display are wheezing, coughing, or even a general sensation of restriction. What’s amazing is that just as randomly as a child develops it, they often just grow out of it, this process is known in medical terms as spontaneous remission. One day the child will react to certain environmental factors such as dust, flowers, or even a change in temperature, the next the very same sources which have previously troubled them have no effect.
In conclusion research is still happening but whether this disease of the airways and lungs is a genetically inherited and timed release type of disease or it’s related to the environment is still to be fully understood. It could be a mixture of the two, so let’s hope something is discovered soon.
